GRAND PARENTS’ DAY – 2024.

 St. Paul’s  High  School organised a heartfelt and a memorable Grand Parents’ Day  for the Primary School students on 9 November, 2024, as a part of its Platinum Jubilee Celebration. It was a wonderful opportunity to honour the grand parents for their love , wisdom  and guidance while  celebrating  70  years  of  the  school’s excellence.The Chief  Guest on this momentous occasion was  Mr. Ajit  Kumar  Mahendra,  retired  Deputy  Director General  of  Geological  Survey  of  India  and also a  proud  alumnus  of  St .Pauls High  School(1962 batch). His  presence brought warmth and joy as it added a sense of belongingness.

The  celebration  commenced  with  a  serene prayer  song  followed  by  a vibrant   traditional  Welcome  Dance by  the Primary School  students.  A  warm  welcome  was extended to all  the Grand parents and Parents was extended by the Principal Rev. Bro.  Sudhakar Reddy.

The Principal in his message insisted on being  thankful to God, for the gift of the life, for parents and teachers and also for the importance of Grandparents in our lives.The  school  choir   captivated  the  audience  with  the   Jubilee song  and  the theme  song  titled  “Let  Gratitude  be  your  Best  attitude “,  perfectly  resonating  the  spirit  of  the  event  and  the  Jubilee Celebration galore.

Prizes for  the  online  competitions  organised for  the  Parents and Grandparents, were given away on this day .

The  Primary  School  Annual  Report highlighted  the  school’s  achievement in curricular and co- curricular activities. Following this, the esteemed Chief Guest Mr. Ajit Kumar Mahendra delivered  an inspiring message

The Chief Guest highlighted the crucial role of grandparents play in a child’s life. He spoke about the agricultural, industrial and electronic revolutions noting todays’ challenge and to start a counter revolution to reconnect with nature. The cultural  programme  that followed was a true celebration of talent  and creativity.  The students  of  class  1 and 2 charmed the audience with their  lively performance on the theme “ In Every Smile There is  Gratitude”  while students of classes 3 and 4 mesmerised the audience their scintillating performance on the theme  “Let Gratitude Be Your Best Attitude”. 

The  Junior  Head  Boy  and  the  Junior  Head  Girl  delivered  the vote  of  thanks expressing  gratitude  to  the  school  community.

The celebration  concluded  with  the  National  Anthem   instilling   sense  of pride and patriotism.The Grand Parents’ Day Celebration was yet another unforgettable  milestone  in  St. Paul’s High school’s   History  of  excellence.
