SPECIAL ASSEMBLY COMMEMORATING P.V NARASIMHA RAO,
BHARAT RATNA AWARDEE

 

 A special assembly was conducted on 22 February, 2024 in the honour of  former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna  Late  Sri. P.V. Narasimha Rao.The Chief Guest for the special assembly was  Mr. PV Prabhakar Rao, Alumnus  St.Pauls High School 1969 batch and the son of Late  Sri. P.V Narasimha Rao.

 

He was received by the Principal Rev.Bro Sudhakar Reddy and the members of alumni association who felicitated him warmly.

Paying rich tribute to Late  Sri. P.V. Narasimha Rao a ceremonial lamp was lit and his portrait was garlanded with great veneration by the Principal, Rev.Bro.Sudhakar Reddy,  Mr. P.V Prabhakar Rao, Mr. Mazar Ali, the President of Alumni Association of St.Paul’s High School, Head boy and Head girl.

In his address, Chief Guest Mr. P.V Prabhakar Rao highlighted the remarkable contributions of Mr. P.V Narasimha Rao to India. He emphasized Rao’s pivotal role as the Education Minister in 1968, where in  he introduced the 10 + 2  Indian education system.

Mr. Rao’s economic reforms played a significant role in steering India through crises. Mr. Prabhakar Rao also noted his father’s close rapport with the former Principal of St. Paul’s High School, Bro. Stanislaus, and highlighted Mr.Rao’s passion of learning, even at the age of 80, when he learned to play the electrical keyboard.

 

The assembly concluded with a sense of pride in honoring the legacy of    Late Sri. P.V Narasimha Rao, a leader whose contributions have left an indelible mark on India’s progress and development. He is a true Ratna of our Proud Bharat.
