The 12th International Day of Yoga was observed with great enthusiasm and solemnity by the NCC cadets of St. Paul’s High School.
To mark the occasion, a special yoga session was conducted by Ms. Suma Vamshi, a renowned yoga instructor and meditation and relaxation of mind therapist .
During the session, Ms. Suma Vamshi highlighted the importance of yoga in maintaining physical fitness, mental well-being, emotional balance, and inner peace. She explained how regular practice of yoga helps improve concentration, promotes positive thinking, and enables individuals to lead a healthy and disciplined life.
The students were guided through various yogic postures, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques aimed at calming the mind and enhancing overall wellness.
The programme was successfully organized with the support and active participation of the NCC cadets under the leadership of Mr. J .Sudhakar.
The students enthusiastically took part in the activities and gained valuable insights into the benefits of yoga.
As a token of gratitude and appreciation for her valuable contribution, a memento was presented to Ms. Suma Vamshi at the end of the session. The programme concluded on a positive note, inspiring students to incorporate yoga into their daily lives for a healthier and more balanced future.

The celebration aimed to promote physical and mental well-being through the ancient practice of yoga. This year’s theme, “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” emphasized the holistic benefits of yoga for individuals and the planet alike.
