ST.PAUL’S FEAST AND INVESTITURE CEREMONY
St. Paul’s High School celebrated the dual occasion of St. Paul’s Feast and the Investiture Ceremony on 27 June 2026 with great enthusiasm and solemnity. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Shri Phanendra Nath Kandula, a proud alumnus of the 1977 batch.
The programme commenced with the Prayer Song followed by the ceremonial Lighting of the Lamp by the Chief Guest Shri Phanendranath Kandula, Principal, Rev. Bro. Sudhakar Reddy; Vice Principal, Rev. Bro. Chinnappa Reddy; High School Coordinator, Ms. Saraswathi; Primary School Coordinator, Sister Rajitha; and Pre-Primary Coordinator, Ms. Maria Jude. The portrait of St. Paul was garlanded by the Chief Guest, Principal and Vice Principal.
The Principal Rev.Bro.Sudhakar Reddy emphasized the importance of schooling years in building a strong foundation for future in his message and welcomed the Chief Guest Shri Phanendra Nath Kandula with a sapling. This was followed by a melodious rendition of the Feast Day Song by the School Choir.
The choir also presented the Theme Song based on the theme of the year, “Learning Today, Transforming Tomorrow,” with great fervour and enthusiasm.The members of the School Cabinet elect, Class Leaders, Assistant Class Leaders, House Captains, and Classroom In-charges, solemnly took the Oath of Office.
In his address, Chief Guest Shri Phanendra Nath Kandula highlighted that responsibility and service are the two noble qualities of a true leader. The Principal, Rev. Bro. Sudhakar Reddy, felicitated the Chief Guest with a shawl, while the Vice Principal, Rev. Bro. Chinnappa Reddy, presented him with a memento. The Head Boy, the Head Girl, along with the Junior Head Boy and Junior Head Girl, delivered their maiden speeches on this auspicious occasion.
The felicitation of retired teachers added grandeur to the celebration. Ms. Naga Rajya Lakshmi (Department of Telugu), Ms. Prabha Tiwari and Mr. Purushottam Joshi (Department of Hindi), Mr. Vincent Reddy (Department of Social Studies), who attained superannuation, were honoured by Rev. Bro. Sudhakar Reddy and Rev. Bro. Chinnappa Reddy, with shawl, memento, fruit basket, and a purse as token of gratitude for their dedicated service.
Students from all four houses enthusiastically participated in various competitions organized as part of the celebrations. A captivating dance drill performed by the students of Class VII and VIII enthralled the audience.
The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by the General Secretary, Kritika Baid, followed by the National Anthem
Heartiest congratulations to the newly elected members of the School Cabinet. May they discharge their duties with sincerity and dedication, and uphold the noble values and ideals of St. Paul’s High School.
