Teachers’ Day Celebration was held at St.Paul’s High School with granduer. The programme commenced with a soulful prayer song by the School Choir and was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by our Principal Rev. Bro. Sudhakar Reddy, Vice Principal Rev. Bro Chinnappa Reddy, Rev. Bro.Lourdu Reddy and our senior teacher Ms. Swarna Gowri, followed by the garlanding of the portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan . A mesmerising welcome dance- Guruvandanam was graciously performed by the students. Scripture reading was read from three Holy Books and special prayer for teachers was read by the School Cabinet. The teachers were welcomed with flowers and books as a gesture of reverence. Shri M. Venugopal, alumnus from 1977 batch presented the message on behalf of Shri Ravinder Sharma , currently residing in the USA, alumnus of 1977 batch emphasizing the role of a teacher.
Our senior teacher, Ms. Swarna Gowri, who superannuated this year was honoured with a heartfelt felicitation in recognition of her dedicated service to the institution.
A melodious special song was presented by the School Choir portraying their affection towards their teachers. Prizes were awarded to teachers who won in different games which were conducted earlier in the school premises. Students displayed their acting skills in a wonderful skit performance. Fun games were conducted on the spot for teachers and prizes were awarded. The students conducted an engaging interview with a few teachers, adding fun and cheer to the joyous occasion. The students of Class X captivated the audience with an enchanting dance performance. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
A sumptuous lunch was hosted by the Alumni, batch of 1977 as a token of gratitude towards the teachers.
