On July 12, 2025, St. Paul’s High School, Hyderguda, Hyderabad, conducted an Anti-Drug Awareness Programme to educate students on the dangers of substance abuse and the importance of making safe life choices.
The session was led by Ms. T. Sruthi Reddy, President of ICISC Hyderabad and a Certified Trainer in Cyber Security and Anti-Narcotics Awareness, accredited by the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TGANB). She engaged the students through an impactful presentation, using real-life examples, videos, and interactive discussions to raise awareness about the different forms of narcotics, how students are being targeted, the physical, emotional, and academic consequences of drug use, and how they can stay safe and support their peers. The session was both educational and deeply motivating for students.

The programme began with a welcome address by the school counselor, Ms. Anitha Alexander, followed by a session by Ms. Sruthi Reddy. Later, the Head Boy and the Head Girl of the school led the students and staff in taking the Anti-Drug Pledge. A memento was presented to the speaker by Vice Principal Ms. Suju Thomas, and the event concluded with a group photo featuring students holding awareness posters.
This initiative reflects the school’s continued commitment to student safety, awareness, and well-being.
