National Teachers’ Day was celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan, the second President of India and a renowned educationist at St. Paul’s High School.
To mark the beginning of the celebrations of Teachers ‘ Day, floral tributes and respects were paid to Dr. Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan, by the teachers.
The students honoured the teachers and expressed their thoughts, feelings and love by putting up a well articulated cultural programme, comprising mellifluous songs, peppy dance numbers and rib tickling comedy skits.
Gifts were exchanged and prizes were distributed to all the prize winners of various games and competitions, held as a part of this celebration.
Rev.Br. Sudhakar, Principal, St. Paul’s High School, in his message, recalled the role of the teachers who were instrumental in shaping and mentoring students to become progressive leaders, in their lives. He advised the students to hold respect and regard for the teachers who have taught them the letters of life.
Rev. Br. K.M.Joseph, Director and Correspondent and Rev. Br. Arogyam, the Bursar, extended their support and presence in making the celebration, a grand success.
The programme concluded with the singing of the National Anthem by the students.
Teacher’s Day Celebrations – Primary School
Teachers’ Day was celebrated in the Primary block of St.Paul’s High School on 3 September 2022.
A grand celebration followed ,to commerate the birth anniversary of Dr.Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan, the pioneer who greatly contributed towards the education system.
The day’s programme commenced with a prayer song .The portrait of Dr.Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan was garlanded as a mark of respect, by Rev Br.K.M.Joseph Director and Correspondent, Rev.Bro Arogyam, the Busar and Ms.Phulwant Kaur, the Primary Coordinator.
The cheerful voices of the choristers and the applause of the audience ,resonated the campus with a Hip Hip Hurray for all the teachers. A medley of Sanskrit shlokas were played to welcome the teachers, by the students of Classes 1 and 2.
Eloquent speeches in Hindi “Guru vani “and in Telugu “Sarvasvam” put the teachers, on a high pedestal .
“One Minute Games” were organized for the teachers and the cheer leaders danced and reached out to their teachers expressing their love.
The programme concluded with the singing of the National Anthem by the young Paulians.
