St. Paul’s High School had the honour of hosting the Provincial Superior of the Hyderabad Province, Rev. Brother Shine Alex, for a two-day visit. On 18 September 2024, Rev. Brother Shine Alex addressed the students of class 10.He inspired the students by conveying the efficient methods of being successful and enlightened the students about the importance of time management. He even provided a time table to be practiced during the holidays that would help them to manage studies and other activities and advised the students to wake up by 5:00 a.m. and stressed on three 8’s i.e. 8 hours work ,8 hours relaxation and 8 hours sleep for a healthy lifestyle. He motivated the students to reach for their highest aspirations.
Later in the afternoon, he addressed the school’s staff with a message filled with wisdom and encouragement. In his address, he emphasized the vital role teachers play, underscoring the importance of patience and perseverance in their teaching. He highlighted that a dedicated teacher not only imparts knowledge but also shapes the future of their students through these virtues. Brother Shine Alex congratulated the teachers for their unwavering commitment and dedication to their profession, recognizing the significant impact they have on their students’ lives. Additionally, he inspired the teachers to continually upgrade their skills and remain adaptive in their teaching approaches, to stay relevant in an ever-evolving educational landscape. His message served as a powerful reminder of the profound responsibility that comes with being an educator and left the staff feeling motivated and appreciated.
A special assembly was held on 19 September 2024 to extend a heartfelt welcome to Rev. Bro. Shine Alex, by the School Cabinet. The programme commenced with a soulful Prayer Song, followed by the Morning Prayer and Scripture reading. An engaging skit was performed, emphasizing the key qualities of leadership, which captivated the audience. Rev. Bro. Shine Alex shared his valuable insights, focusing on the importance of building emotional resilience in children to face future challenges with confidence and develop their unique talents. He also encouraged students to embrace hard work, self-discipline, and compassion as essential values for personal growth.The event also featured a melodious choir performance, adding to the celebratory atmosphere. The program concluded on a patriotic note with the National Anthem.
All in all,Rev. Brother’s visit inspired the students and rejuvenated the teachers.
