Haritha Haram was celebrated on 1 August 2026 by the students of the Pre-Primary Section with great enthusiasm. The programme aimed to promote environmental awareness and inspire young learners to protect and preserve nature.The celebration began with a prayer song, followed by a speech and a thought for the day on the theme of Haritha Haram.
The Haritha Haram Green Pledge was solemnly administered to the students, encouraging them to become responsible caretakers of the environment.The children enthusiastically participated in sapling plantation, watering plants, and engaging in songs, rhymes, and fun-filled activities that highlighted the importance of trees and environmental conservation.
The Vice Principal, Rev. Bro. Chinnappa Reddy, encouraged the students to become responsible guardians of nature from a young age and to contribute towards making our planet greener and healthier.A sapling plantation drive was conducted as part of the Haritha Haram programme.
An exhibition of eco-friendly projects and craftwork made from recycled materials added colour and creativity to the celebration.The programme concluded with a renewed commitment by the students to plant more trees and keep their surroundings green and clean.
