THE 7TH REV BROTHER STANISLAUS MEMORIAL LECTURE-2025

The 7th Rev Brother Stanislaus Memorial Lecture was held on September 20th, commemorating his 109th birth anniversary at St Paul’s High School. The event commenced with a warm welcome by Vice Principal Mrs. Suju Thomas to the audience, comprising Class IX students and esteemed alumni committee members. A soul-stirring prayer song and a heartwarming tribute to Rev Bro Stanislaus set the tone, followed by the symbolic lighting of the lamp and garlanding of his portrait.

The distinguished Chief Guest, Dr. Nitin Roy Vohra, delivered a thought-provoking lecture on “Electronic Painkillers: The Mobile Addiction,” masterfully expounding on the perils of excessive mobile phone usage. He skillfully navigated the complexities of digital addiction, highlighting its far-reaching consequences on mental health, relationships, and productivity. With compelling anecdotes, striking statistics, and expert insights, Dr. Nitin offered practical advice on recognizing signs of addiction and strategies for digital detox.

Dr. Nitin emphasized the importance of setting boundaries, practicing mindfulness, and nurturing face-to-face relationships. The lecture was engaging, informative, and thought-provoking, leaving the audience with a deeper understanding of the issue and a renewed commitment to adopting healthier digital habits.

Dr. Nitin received a special memento from Principal Rev Bro. Sudhakar Reddy as a token of gratitude. The event was made more special by the presence of Mr. Ajit Mahendra (1963 batch), the oldest member of the alumni, who shared a poignant moment from Dr. Nitin’s school days.
