CELEBRATING 70 GLORIOUS YEARS

Annual Day of St. Paul’s High School was celebrated on 11 January 2025, marking the conclusion of the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations. The Chief Guest was the Honourable Advocate General for the State of Telangana, Shri. A. Sudarshan Reddy, our esteemed alumnus from the 1974 batch. 

The Guests of Honour were Mr. and Mrs. Chandrasekhar, parents of the Head Boy, and Mr. and Mrs. Govindareddy Gari Ravinder Reddy, the parents of the Head Girl.

The annual day celebration began with a prayer song, setting the tone for a blessed and joyful celebration.

The Principal welcomed the gathering and introduced the Chief Guest and Guests of Honour. In the welcome address, the Principal focused on three key aspects: the importance of gratitude, the value of time, and the need to pay back to society.

As a tribute to the pillars of the institution, Senior Brother, Rev. Bro. Lambert, former Principals and Vice Principals – Rev. Bro. P.T. Joseph, Rev. Bro. Show Reddy, Rev. Bro. Rayappa Reddy, Rev. Bro. N.F. Joseph, and Rev. Bro. Sleeva Reddy – who played a pivotal role in shaping the school’s history and legacy, were felicitated by our Principal,  Rev. Bro. Sudhakar Reddy and Bursar,  Rev. Bro. Aarogyam. 

The school celebrated the Silver Jubilee of  Mrs. Yolanda Morris Teacher’s dedicated service, felicitating her with appreciation. Thirty students who achieved 10 and 9.8 GPA were recognized and felicitated by the Guests of Honour. The Principal and Bursar honoured teachers Mr. Prakash Reddy, Ms. Rajitha, Ms. Sujatha Lingareddy, Ms.Stella Paul, Mr. K.P. Jose, and Ms. Anitha Alexander for their full attendance.

The Chief Guest, Shri. A. Sudarshan Reddy, emphasized the significance of education, kindness, and empathy, aligning with the nation’s preamble. The cultural programme was a vibrant showcase of talent, featuring a musical enactment of “Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs” by classes 5 and 6, highlighting kindness. Dances depicting India’s history and legacy were presented by classes 7, 8, and 9. A patriotic dance by class 10 inspired students to embody St. Paul’s qualities. The cultural programme concluded with a special tribute to our patron, St. Paul, as the choir rendered a special song, singing solemnly to express their reverence. The students joined in harmony, showcasing their gratitude for 70 years of the school’s journey, filling the occasion with devotion and admiration. 

The General Secretary of the school cabinet, Master Mohammed Bin Abdul Rehman, proposed the vote of thanks. The event concluded with a heartfelt tribute to the school as the students of Class 7 lit up the number “70” on a digital board, symbolizing the milestone, and the gathering sang the school anthem, followed by the National Anthem.
