Children's Day 2024

Children’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at St. Paul’s High School on 14 November 2024, in the school premises. The programme started with a prayer song invoking the blessings of God . The traditional lighting the lamp and garlanding of the portrait of Pundit Nehru was carried out with reverence. The Principal Rev. Br. Sudhakar Reddy in his message spoke about Pandit Nehru and his love for children. He added that children of today are citizens of tomorrow and so they should hold the values of integrity ,honesty , brotherhood and respect for all.

The teachers showcased their musical talents, singing beautifully to cheer the students with a special song on their special day.
A variety of solo and group gamesorganized, with solo games taking place in the classrooms and group games held on the school front ground. 

The group games were based House wise, namely Br. Stanislaus House, St.Montfort House, St.Gabriel House and Br.John of God House ,which added excitement for the school crowd, who cheered loudly.The children displayed remarkable dedication, playing diligently to earn points for their houses. The students competed with enthusiasm, representing their respective houses, which added a sense of friendly rivalry and team spirit to the event.

The Children’s day, in the Primary school, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy, on 13 November 2024.The programme commenced with a prayer song, setting a peaceful tone for the event. This was followed by the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and ushering of knowledge and wisdom. The Principal Rev. Bro. Sudharkar Reddy, the Bursar Rev. Bro. Arogyam garlanded the portrait of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, fondly remembered as Chacha Nehru, whose love for children is celebrated on this day. 

 

On this special occasion, the Principal Rev. Bro. Sudhakar Reddy in his message said that children are the future citizens of the country. By studying well, they gain knowledge, wisdom and skills which shape the students into responsible citizens.

The teachers presented a special song, captivating the students with their melodious voices.

 

In the prize distribution ceremony the winners of the one-minute games conducted for the students were honoured.

The highlight of the day was the scintillating dance performance by the teachers of Primary and Pre-Primary.

A hilarious skit was also performed by the teachers filling the air with diction, laughter and joy. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by the Junior Cabinet expressing gratitude to the teachers for making this day as special for them.

The Children’s Day Celebration was a perfect blend of fun, entertainment and learning, making it a memorable day.
