The Inaugural ceremony of the 34th  St. Paul’s State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament

The 34th St. Paul’s Annual  Telangana State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament was declared open in St. Paul’s High School on 19 August 2022.

The Chief Guest of the day was Senior Vice President of the Tournament Committee, Sri K K Maheswari and the Secretary of the committee, Sri P. Prakash Raju.

The programme commenced with a prayer song invoking the blessings of God by the school choir.

The lighting of the lamp was ceremoniously carried out by the Chief Guest Senior Vice President of the Tournament Committee Sri, K. K. Maheswari, Secretary of the committee Sri Prakash Raju, Chairman & Principal, Rev. Bro. Sudhakar Reddy, Director and Correspondent, Rev. Bro. K. M. Joseph and the Bursar, Rev. Bro. Arogyam.

The Chairman & Principal Rev. Bro Sudhakar Reddy in his welcome address to the participants spoke about perseverance and being consistent in the practice of the game and to remain focused at all times.

The Chief Guest Senior Vice President K. K. Maheswari in his valuable message encouraged the participants to put in a lot of practice and disciplined and play every round of the game with a challenge. Sri P. Prakash Raju garu encouraged the participants saying that one should aim to be a Champion and this was agreed by all who were present in the audience.

It was a delight to see Director and Correspondent, Rev. Bro. K. M. Joseph play a few shots with the participants setting the mood of competition among all.

Valedictory function of the 34th St. Paul’s Annual Telangana State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament

The Valedictory function of the 34th St. Paul’s Annual Telangana State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament was held on 22 August 2022,  at 2 p.m. in the Montfort Hall, at St. Paul’s High School.

The distinguished guests of the day were Sri. A Narasimha Reddy garu, President of the Tournament Committee and also the Chairman of the Bar Council of Telangana and the guests of Honour were Sri. P Prakash Reddy garu, Secretary of Tournament Committee and Mr. Rahul Yadav, an ace International Badminton Player and an Alumnus of St. Paul’s High School.

The celebration of the tournament was among the galaxy of players which resonated the spirit of competition, skill, hard work and the dream of being a Champion.

Rev. Bro. Sudhakar Reddy, Chairman of the Tournament Committee and Principal of St. Paul’s High School and the Director of the Tournament Committee, Director and Correspondent of St. Paul’s High School, Rev. Bro. K M Joseph, welcomed, acknowledged, appreciated and applauded the Chief Guest Sri. A Narasimha Reddy, Chairman of the Tournament Committee for being the Rock of Gibraltor, for the enthusiastic players of the Table Tennis game.

The most awaited part of the Valedictory function was the Prize Distribution Ceremony. A clean sweep of the medals was bagged by Ms. Satya of GSM in Under-13, Under-15, Under-17, Under-19 categories.  She stood as an icon for the TT enthusiasts who had gathered, to witness the finals.

A champion needs motivation above and beyond winning and St. Paul’s has been  laying the foundation for such tournaments.
